You MUST understand what the word "Apprenticeship" means before you make up your mind to enroll. Not a school of any kind. We cannot take any kind of "hurry" from any apprentice until we are done training you and satisfied with what you can develop with raw coding

APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING AGREEMENT DETAILS (THE APPRENTICESHIP CONTRACT)

1. This is a MASTER-APPRENTICE training. Not a university online schooling system, NOT a 6-month paper certificate course. Emphasis is on mastering of the lucrative Web Programming Skill (Raw Coding, not wordpress), towards solving a particular “problem” in your environment and Nigeria or the world.

2. The training will be a 10% theory and 90% “Do-As-I-Do” practical. We shall write the code and develop the live prototype of each of the applications listed above as training project. This is not a course for you to get background knowledge to go outside and learn it, you must learn it practical now and do it in real-live. If you only needed a certificate course 6 months, kindly find alternative.

3. If you have intentions to learn other programming languages other than the ones listed above, kindly find another training master in such programming language. I specialize in raw coding of PHP 8+, MySQLi/OOP/PDO, Bootstrap, JavaScript for the web, CURL, JSON, JQuery, AJAX, 3rd Party API integrations.

4. All listed Website and utility applications above, come with e-Wallet and/or Online Payment API integration and it is a Full-Stack Application (hand-coded Front and Back-End). You are expected to have had a background/primary/pre-requisite knowledge of HTML before applying to learn from the instructor, if not, kindly indicate during your interview and “Expression of Interest” form

5. You will have the opportunity to learn a practical side of “Cyber Security” and apply it in all our intending training live applications. Since you will be learning web application programming and development, security on the web should be top on the mind of any web programmer.

6. You have access to all kinds of Free and Updated Source/Sample Codes from the instructor’s 15 years code library

7. You will be lead into the world of “reasonable thoughts”. Learning how to think in reality is essential to every programmer, to enable you bring the software needed to live, to work just as the real world works.

8. You will learn how to first, be “HACKER” in our practical “Ethical/White-hat Hacking” training sessions. Learn to be pro-active in terms of security on the web and hack the hacker

9. You will also have opportunity to learn “Data Science/Data Analysis” in theory and practical since your training is based on dynamic database-driven web applications. You will learn Data Analysis with SQL and Excel in a more practical Do-As-I-Do approach as bonus.

10. All apprentices must have a good working laptop with an external earpiece to listen to the instuctor from the laptop while online training is on-going, on a constant source of light and good internet connection during training hours as well as a smart phone to test your web applications’ responsiveness to mobile devices. The webmaster/instructor will share his screen for every one to see and follow in a Do-As-I-Do method with explanations of code that is being written.

11. Entrance Online CBT Exam will be done the same day by all applicants while one-on-one interview will be done individually with the instructor on video call.

12. Everything about this training is Raw Coding. NO CMS of any kind is allowed. (i.e, We do not offer training for CMS like wordpress or any other Content Management System) .The aim of this master-apprentice system of raw coding training is to make you a raw code programmer who can write custom codes for custom client software requirements, just as the instructor.

13. Apprenticeship Training Agreement Fee is capped at ₦300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Naira), to be paid in two installments of ₦150,000 every half of the training duration of one year, direct into Chikesoft Bank Account or via Paystack Online payment from my apprenticeship training portal/Chikesoft website. There is no additional, hidden and/or certificate charges. Certification is subject to the CERTIFICATION terms and conditions stated in this document. You must have designed and/or developed a minimum of five live and/or prototype websites and web applications before we can grant you access to your e-certificate on our training portal.

14. No other payment account except the one bearing Chikesoft Services. The bank details will be communicated to all apprentices in their online enrolment acknowledgment slip

15. Attendance will be marked remotely by the instructor. This is key to certifying that you are part of the training. You will be mandated to drop-out and join next batch (next year) with the same fee paid, if you absent from training multiple times irrespective of the reason for such absenteeism as well as pay a fine of ₦10,000 to access the training video that you absented from its live class.

16. You can also request to drop out for any reason best know to you and join the next batch at the exact stage you dropped out, using the same fee if already paid.

17. The programming instructor will guide you continuously even after your training duration has elapse, both in practice and in any web application business project you get except on areas that require a 3rd party expenditure.

18. There will be weekly CBT Test, with questions that are more of practical than theory as well as a written assignment on the same training portal. These assessments are compulsory for every apprentice.

19. All intending apprentices must complete the online “Expression of Interest” form at the bottom of this page on our website with a REFUNDABLE application fee of ₦10,000 if not accepted after the instructor’s review of your online one-on-one interview/entrance CBT exam.

20. If accepted, you MUST pay the first installment of your apprenticeship agreement fee of ₦150,000 to secure your training acceptance slot and start attending classes for the first half of the training duration, after which you must pay your outstanding fee to continue. All apprenticeship offers not accepted within one month with payment of the first training installment will be forfeited and replaced with another applicant. Refund, less 20% and instant drop-out can be initiated for any unserious apprentice. Your payment is not a guarantee for you to be unserious, skip classes and/or found wanting in training assignments and practical home works. We only need serious tech-freak future techprenuers in software programming and development, not people seeking knowledge that they won't apply or people seeking certification for promotion in their places of work.

22. There will be NO physical training session but a special separate session can be arranged upon negotiation for any one or any group, especially those that miss any training session, which they will pay extra fee of ₦10,000 each

23. You need to check-out the instructor’s Portfolio and programming skills here before applying. You should apply if only his programming skills and his area of specialization (Web-Based Utility Applications) meet your needs or are inline with your area of interest in tech. However, your application is subject to review and final decision will be made by the instructor after considering your interview outcome and the entrance CBT exam

24. We do not offer “Training for Certificate”. It is strictly “Training for Techpnorenuer”. You must use this Tech Skill learnt from me to do business the same way I am doing and make a living from it. Failure to do so, will lead to CHIKESOFT revoking your Certificate in public (National Newspaper and Social Media) if already awarded.

25. All training certificates are electronic and verifiable on our training portal, but we do not award certificate immediately upon completion of your training. The terms of certificate awarde is contained in this document.

26. Certification is based on your practical project programming and development with at least FIVE websites and/or web applications that can solve various problems or automate keys areas like SMEs and governance processes to enhance Nigeria’s political and economic growth.

27. We are not interested in training people who just want to get the knowledge for knowledge sake and/or people who want to learn web programming skill to either look for a tech job in Nigeria or travel abroad to find a tech job. You MUST use the skill learnt to work and do business within Nigeria and in your immediate environment. We must use programming to solve the numerous Nigeria’s problems and/or enhance and automate systems, processes, businesses and governance with customized utility web applications

28. You must have an excellent practical computer/ICT skill. Ability to operate computer practically is pre-requisite to applying and acceptance. I cannot possibly be telling you how to open notepad or how to save a document and browse internet. If such incompetence is discoverd, you will be dropped for a refund of your agreement fee, less 20% if within the first two months, else, you will be dropped to join next batch annually

29. First instalment of the Apprenticeship Training Agreeent Fee must be paid in before general training commencement date and only refundable if refund is needed by the apprentice within the first week of starting the training. After the first week, refund will not be accepted but the apprentice can drop-out and re-join next batch

30. Training will start and end the same day for all apprentice while further guide and support continues by the instructor to all apprentice

31. We do not offer any form of e-Book except our live training, videos recorded during the training and theoretical explanation blog contents on our website

32. Absent from class for any day without submitting absence ticket with genuine reason, leads to a fine of ₦10,000 to be debited from your wallet. Multiple absenteeism, leads to automatic drop-out, to join next batch of training at the exact point of drop-out for the same fee, if already paid.

33. Training runs 3 times a week online for 50 weeks (11 months and 2 weeks), starting from the 2nd week of January till the 3rd week of December for each batch. Training days are: Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays (7pm-10pm). Training will begin each day with theoretical explanation of the application to be coded and introductory coding, the rest training days of the week will be the complete coding, deployment, testing and debugging, while corrective, adaptive and perfective maintenance continues.

34. The programmer will entertain 24/7 inquiries, help, support, guide, code issues and others via Call, SMS, private Whatsapp and/or website live chat, question and answer section of our training portal, private support ticket, etc. When the inquiry, help, support, etc entails an information that will benefit everyone, it can be made visible to all when a fix is made to any issue that may be of knowledge to others on the same training

35. Every apprentice must purchase a web hosting account, whose training will take place within the first quarter for to upload their projects for the instructor to view, rate and grade. The world has to see what you are learning and the extent you are. This server will continue as your software programming and development business server to hosto your clients' projects in future.

36. This is not the regular online or physical training system where youare given theoretical basics and foundation then issued a certificate to go and find a tech job. We will only do practical 90% and necessary theory explanations, which will be blogged, will be made as regards the topic being threated or the application being developed

37. All Training Sessions will be screen recorded by the instructor and uploaded to the training portal for all apprentices to re-watch at their convenience time to practice. All absentees will pay a fine of ₦10,000 to gain access to that particular training video.

38. Note! If your aim of trying to learn web programming is solely to make money, you may be “unqualified” to be trained by the instructor. The reality is that, people make money by “solving a problem” or by providing solutions to the everyday reality issues facing us as a country. You must be focused on this reality to be qualified for me to train you. Money is an exchange for value, when you provie valuable software services that meet and/or solve people's need, they will pay you the money

39. Your apprenticeship agreement fee is a requirement for me to pass this knowledge and skill to you but not a yardstick to any indecisiveness and ridiculous ambitions of “to learn make money”. Hence, your fee can be refunded the moment it is discovered that your ambition and mindset is to “learn and make money” or learn to find an "in-demand job" as we always see online from many theoritical course training schools. You must be focused on solving at least one problem with a web and/or mobile application that you will learn from me. You can make money when your application solves a problem for any client.

40. Enrolment can be individual or sponsored. An organization or company can sponsor a group of people to enter the apprenticeship training programme

41. Enrolling and giving excuse of working or busy will lead to instant drop-out to join next batch or even a refund less 20%. If you are already working, kindly stick to your work if there won’t be chance for you to join otherwise, find alternative training system that will best suit your schedule. We are only interested in training people who don't have work yet and are only aiming towards making this skill their handwork and self-employed with it.

42. All completed apprentices remain apprentice of the master (Programming Instructor) forever and is entitled to “free” future support/help for growth when necessary except where such support/help will incur 3rd party expenses, the said apprentice will pay for such expenses

43. All intending apprentices must carefully read and agree to these terms before the enrolment form can be submitted.

44. The Training is a participatory system. I expect every apprentice to bring real-live problems and others to contribute solutions to it which will then be intepreted into a web application with programming

46. It is recommended that all apprentices should endeavour to make out time and attend the preliminary training days as foundation matters. System setup, local server setup and database setup as well as some sample codes will be given at the starting days of the programme. From the 2nd month, the instructor will only be speaking in programming terminologies and web dictions, which will be learnt at the first two months

47. Learn a tech skill from someone who has spent years to acquire and master the same skill and is actively using it to do business and making money from it. Not from a training school where the instructor is not using the same thing he or she wants to teach you to do business but promises you that you can make money if you pay for him or her to teach or train you, worst of all, is the mindset that you can secure high-paying jobs abroad or in Nigeria when you train from them. I Chikesoft does not and will not train any apprentice whose aim is only to go and find a tech job. I am doing web application software business, you will have to follow my line of business after graduation and be self employed. Anything short of this, I will not enrol or continue training you. Bring me any software job and see me in action

48. You will be mandated to take electronically written (typed) assessement alongside the weekly CBT and the prototype project to be developed weekly 49. These terms will be under-going regular editing and updating from time to time and you will be notified of such via the training portal app notifications icon
